How computer works?

Some computers are used to perform special stuffs. They may be programmed to perform a task, let say for studying earthquake or for controlling some devices. However, the most common type of computers that you can see everywhere is called personal computers, used mainly for surfing the net, watching videos, doing admin task and more. Nowadays alot of manufacturers are competing with each other, building the ever-smaller computers. Well, it's the trend now, human like mini portable stuffs. A good example will be the macbook air. Operating System An operating system is a collection of programs the allows the computer to communicate with the hardware and to work together. It also control the running of the other programs. A computer is made up of several hardware, like the memory ram, the CPU, memory chips, graphics card,  keyboard, mouse etc. These are the various pieces of equipment that are connected to the computer and these equipment are called peripherals. Computer are used widely for storage of data. Like us, computers have memories too. And their memories, are called storage which are used to store data information. There are two type of storage in a computer, primary storage and seconday storage. Primary storage is where the computer holds data that it is currently using. This place also also known as computer memory or temporary storage. For example, you tell your computer to store two numbers after processing it for addition.
